We are a homeschooling family of eight who has walked through many seasons of happiness and hardship. Our story has been shaped by years spent in and out of hospitals and by thousands of doctor’s appointments. At times, the journey has felt lonely. Yet again and again, God has shown up—sending people to serve us, to carry us, and to be His love and light when we needed it most. Through the prayers and kindness of others, we have witnessed miracles unfold in our lives. That same heart now drives us to create spaces of wellness, kindness, and hope—for every family, for every season of life.
Family is where love is planted and purpose takes root. It’s a gift our society has forgotten, but one we fight to protect and honor.
We’re a family that loves to travel, adventure, and explore God’s creation—whether it’s hiking, gardening, or hunting for agates along the shore. At home, some of our best memories are made in the kitchen, cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner together from scratch. We’ve learned that the simple things—time around the table, time outdoors, time with each other—are the treasures that truly matter.
Prioritizing togetherness has meant sacrifices, but it has also brought us closer to one another and to God’s purpose for our lives. A few years ago, we realized that many families don’t live this way—and we want to change that. Through Intentional Living Co., we hope to show that it is possible to live a life of intention, purpose, and presence if you desire it.
We’re a family that finds joy in the glow of a bonfire, the quiet of camping, and the beauty of being together in nature. Oh, WAIT, who am I kidding?! It is never quiet around here.
Our favorite moments are often the simplest—like dancing in the kitchen, letting laughter fill the room. And let me tell you something... We have some pretty rad moves!
We're talking top of the pyramid, waterski show performers! Never did we ever think we'd be a family that performs all summer long. We cannot get enough.
We love gardening. If we could live on a large farm we would. For now we love foraging, tending to our garden, and the land we currently are blessed with.
I grew up in a family where serving others wasn’t just something we did—it was who we were. My parents taught me that generosity is a way of life, whether it meant giving our time, sharing what little we had, or showing up for someone in need. From an early age, I learned that joy multiplies when you give it away, and that God often works through willing hands and open hearts.
That legacy of service has shaped not only who I am, but who we are as a family today. Giving has always been at the center of our story, and it’s why Intentional Living Co. and Kind Rooted exist—to continue that tradition of love, kindness, and service in a world that desperately needs it.
